I ordered this boot three times and each time received a wide calf which was not at all what I wanted or needed.
It is a pretty boot, but this concerned needs followed up on.

I am so frustrated with this order! The first pair I received was wide calf which I did not order. I called customer service, because I wanted a quick exchange. The CS rep assured me I would be sent a regular/medium boot. Two days later I’ve received the exchange and its WIDE CALF!
Come on Zappos; I’m not used to such mistakes like this from your company!

I haven’t had a chance to wear them. I tried then on, the leather or the fake leather is ok not what I expected, top
seems to be a bit wide.
I’ll give them a chance since I just got them, not what I expected tho.

Wide calf boots are a total gamble. Most of the time a wide calf boot is way TOO big. Sadly, these boots that would have been perfect for what I was looking for a just slightly too snug. I can get them zipped with tremendous effort, but there is no way to wear them over pants or jeans and even just over thin leggings took great care to zip.
Regrettably, I’m returning them. I’ve been looking for a pair like this since my last pair of boots bit the dust and I’m just not having good success. Too many years of tennis and marching band with flat feet yield enormous calves and then added weight on top of that makes it hard to find the right thing.

Fit and size and style were great. I loved how these look! But the material seems cheap and it is definitely not leather. Zappos needs to update their classification of this shoe because it was listed when I filtered my search for “Leather”. It looks like leather but the material info on the shoe says ALL MAN MADE materials.

Not. A. Wide. Wide means wide across the foot, not giant calves. I could barely squeeze my toes into this boot, but the shaft was loose around my calf. Why can’t SOMEONE make stylish boots for women with truly wide feet? Le sigh. Sending them back.

The material that the boots are made of is very cheap. I wore them one night out and they completely peeled and now are unwearable after only one use.

I have wide calves and these are the only boots that for me perfectly. I was so in love with them when they arrived. Comfortable, stylish but not good quality! I had them in for 30 minutes around the house so test the comfort and they started cracking! Unbelievable ! I miss the days where you could get good quality from Franco Sarto. These are so cheap.

The calf is not 13.23 inches. It’s is 14, which is a big difference!
After trying them on, it looked like the faux leather was already cracking.
They are comfortable, but not at all worth the price.

I wanted to love these boots so bad. They look amazing on, but they are made with such cheap material. I wore them out ONCE to dinner for a total of 3 hours, and the left boot started peeling at the ankle. I can’t wear them again. Wish they were made the with better material.

Poor Quality! Purchase black pair, in late October. Wore them twice … now the boot is cracking and peeling across the top of the foot. This was a waste of money! I have been wearing Franco Sarto for over 25 years, can’t believe this is their quality.

I bought these before and loved loved loved them! They last 2 years and I wear them for work. I bought a 2nd pair recently and they fell apart the first month of wearing them. You can feel the difference in the material on the 2nd pair. The first pair was nice and soft. 2nd pair felt more plastic

I bought these last year, the leather flaked off around the crease point over the toes within 2 wears. The shaft is a very soft, contoured leather, and the boots crumple down around the ankles because of it

I’ve worn these boots several times on many different occasions, but the true test was when I wore them to a wedding. I was able to dance all night with minimal foot pain I always expect some level of discomfort with any heel after a while, but these weren’t bad at all. They’re a little snug in the calf, but stretchy enough so that it’s not an issue. Love that I can dress them up or down!

These are so unbelievably cute and comfortable. High knee boots never fit over my calves and these fit perfect. They make my ankles look great which I didn’t even know was a thing.

I didn’t have time to break these boots in and immediately had to wear them for an event and let me tell you – they were sooo comfy. They add the perfect amount of height without being too uncomfortable. I love that the croc print is subtle and that it elevates the boots a bit.
I also own a pair of Franco sarco heeled booties and they’ve lasted for 3+ years with no issues so hopefully these boots will do the same.

I received this boot as part of a wear test and absolutely love it. I am a 9w in fit and a wide calf, and this fits great. Even with the second skin style of shaft, there’s just enough give to the material that I could easily wear these over thicker pants.
