This is a sophisticated shoe in a gorgeous dark blue. The heel looks a little clunky given how pointy the toes are. Unfortunately, on me, the weight and size of the chunky heel made it “flap” and awkward to walk in. As always, Zappos makes it super easy to try shoes on and return them when needed.

Love the shoe but hate the white insole on the black heel! The picture on Zappos isn’t accurate. My pair showed up with a white squishy footbed that looked like I’d forgotten to remove a liner from the shoe. Since there is some movement in the back of the shoe when walking, the white part really stood out. Zappos should update the product photo.

The shoe looks beatiful at first until you check the quality of the thin slingback strap that goes around the ankle. It’s very poorly made. Sewn poorly, cut with jagged edges on some pairs, looks visibly bad and some reviews say it’s snapped/ broken apart. I bought 3 colors and the nude pair was the worst. It’s really sad because I love the racer pump but this slingback was a bust 🙁
